Hi, I'm Ricky, the founder of Gentlpaws.

Gentlpaws was born during one of the most uncertain periods of my life. Not long before starting this company, I unexpectedly lost my job. Like many people who experience a sudden career setback, I found myself questioning what came next. It was a difficult time filled with uncertainty, self-reflection, and a lot of searching for purpose.

At the same time, I was caring for my rescue dog, Abel. As I spent more
time focused on his health and well-being, I began learning more about the pet industry and the products available to dog owners. What I found was frustrating. Many products were filled with unnecessary fillers, low-quality ingredients, and confusing labels that made it difficult to know what we were actually giving our pets.

I wanted something better—for Abel and for dogs everywhere.

What started as a personal search for healthier, more trustworthy
products slowly evolved into something much bigger. For the first time, I
decided to take a chance on myself and pursue the entrepreneurial path I had always dreamed about but never fully committed to.

Gentlpaws was built on a simple idea: create products that support dogs' health using quality ingredients that pet parents can trust. Every formula is thoughtfully developed with wellness, transparency, and simplicity in mind because that's exactly what I would want for my own dog.

Building this company hasn't always been easy, but neither was the
journey that led me here. In many ways, Gentlpaws represents a fresh start—a chance to turn a challenging chapter of my life into something meaningful that helps others.

Beyond creating the multivitamin hydration chew, I also wanted to build a brand that gives back. Supporting rescue organizations and animal shelters remains an important part of our mission because dogs like Abel deserve every opportunity to find loving homes and live healthy, happy lives.
